This blog post by Jacky's Electronics (click on the link below the photo) shares some very interesting points but I think that just posting this is not enough. I think its time that we (all of us that want legal access) in the Middle East raised our voices in unison and petitioned all of these stalwarts that want our loyalty and our money but do not acknowledge our needs.
I say that if the owners of the copyright (like Alexander McNabb for his book - read more on http://fakeplasticsouks.blogspot.com/2011/12/territorial-book-rights-unnecess... want us to have it - why should Google, Apple, Amazon et al play God and decide who has access to what content?
Do they think that those that want access illegally are not doing so already? So all they're really doing is denying good honest folk the right to access content that would cross divides and borders. I don't understand.
I think we should do blogs, tweets, facebook posts on these pages and let their local PR spin doctors lobby on our behalf. Let us not take this discrimination any longer.
I am frustrated - aren't you?
